Large hexagonal box

Attempting to make a better version of the hexagonal box.

Some preliminary design to figure out dimensions

Starting stock
Jointed panels
Sides with 60 degree mitres
Dovetails
Measuring required base/lid panel size
Layout for cutting base/lid (subsequently jointed the halves)

Stock preparation and glued up panels

Screwed up and patched one corner's dovetails

Accidentally cut out the pins, not the waste

Glued up and cut off lid

Ready for glueup
Cut off lid
Added insert into lid to hold in place

Finished with boiled linseed oil and shellac

Patched corner is visible, but not terrible
