Bedside table

Small bedside table from reclaimed merbau from outdoor furniture.  Wedged through-tenons and finished with shellac. These pieces were all curved, which made figuring out the mortise & tenon angles a bit tricky, however the result is surprisingly square and symmetrical!

Top frame pieces - cut longest piece avoiding mortises
Leg pieces - ripped of rubbish mortises & cut longest piece
Cleaned up, lots of tear-out
Joined with mortise and tenons
Used scratch stock to create grooves to hold plywood
Laying out the leg angles based on the first joint
Through-mortised stretchers
Cross stretchers use half-lap joints locked into place by an inset into the leg
